2019 Spring (NA) LCS Mid Season

To almost no ones surprise, we have 2 teams that are clearly above the rest with Team Liquid in 1st (at 8-1) and Cloud9 in 2nd (at 7-2). Then there is separation with the rest of the pack, where 2 games separate 3rd place (at 5-4) from 10th place (at 3-6). FlyQuest have flew under the radar and find themselves tied with Team SoloMid for 3rd place, while 100 Thieves have had a slow start and find themselves in a log jam outside the playoffs at the moment.

Another way to look at the teams at the mid season mark is to look at the strength of the opponents for each team's wins. Beating a better team could show potential of the team's true strength, but also losing to a worse team shows the inconsistency of a team. From the analysis above, CLG has a better strength of opponent score compared to FLY even though they have 1 less win. CG and GGS separate themselves from 100T and OPT a bit at the bottom, but other than that it seems like team's records are pretty representative of their strength.
