Is there a gap forming in the LCS... Maybe not the one we thought

Pool 1: FLY (undefeated)

Pool 2: C9, 100T

Pool 3: EG, TSM, CLG, TLH, IMT

Pool 4: DIG, GG (winless)

The pool structure was created using the rule that teams only lose to teams in their pool or above (i.e. C9 beat 100T, but lost to FLY).

Pool 3 is a big mix of teams due to some early season upsets: EG < CLG, TLH < TSM, CLG < IMT. It will be interesting to see if this will stand through the 1st half of the split.

Prior to the season beginning, I would have expected the league to be split 5/5 or 6/4 (CLG is that bubble team for me), where the upper teams would beat all the lower teams while taking games from each other.

Upper Teams: FLY, C9, 100T, EG, TLH

Lower Teams: CLG, TSM, IMT, DIG, GG

Prediction (going into Super Week):

FlyQuest 9-0

Evil Geniuses 7-2

Cloud9 7-2

100 Thieves 6-3

TSM 4-5

Team Liquid 4-5

Golden Guardians 4-5

CLG 3-6

Immortals 2-7

Dignitas 0-9
