The first semi-finals had Echo Fox facing off against Team Liquid. Both teams fielded totally brand new line-up coming into the Spring Split. Echo Fox was lead by top laner Huni and jungles Dardoch. Team Liquid built from their ADC Doublelift and a wide range of veterans including former CLG teammates in Pobelter and Xmithie. Both of these teams had a lot of potential and one of them was about to make it to the finals. Echo Fox got out to a hot start and seemed to have control of Game 1 until an amazing baron steal by Xmithie with an assist from Impact. Team Liquid won the game off this baron play and it felt like they also won the series as Echo Fox could never get back into it. Team Liquid sweeps the series 3-0.

The second semi-finals had two brand new organizations in 100 Thieves and Clutch Gaming going at one another. This is their very first split in League of Legends and it is crazy to think that they are already experiencing this much success. 100 Thieves have been the hottest team in the second half of the split, whereas Clutch Gaming has always been considered that fringe team that was just good enough to get into the playoffs. This was a tough series, going back and forth, and being decided by one of the longest games ever. It was a 60 minute Game 5 that ended in a tense fight between a baron empowered 100T and elder dragon empowered CG, but 100T outlasted them.

Now we have a finals match-up of 100 Thieves vs Team Liquid; Aphromoo vs Doublelift; Cody Sun vs Olleh; Ssumday vs Impact. Who will be crowned as the 4th team ever to win an NA LCS title?
