NA LCS Week 7

For awhile there, it looked like we would never have a clear cut leader this split with all the parody in the league, but the two 1st place teams faced off against each other in the 1st game this week, which would finally give us that number 1 seed. You had 100 Thieves, who made a mid-season roster swap, but looked to not miss a step and on the other side, you had Team Liquid, who were the best team in Spring Split, but had unexplained lapses that created doubt. It was a game that lasted 43 minutes, but TL's late game macro gave them dragon control throughout and they took the victory. This was the start of a 2-0 week for TL as they sit alone in 1st place. Echo Fox were 1 game back coming into the week and also went 2-0 against Team SoloMid and FlyQuest. Cloud9 improved their chances at playoffs with a 2-0 weekend and now sit at 7-7, tied for 4th place with FlyQuest and OpTic Gaming. A few weeks ago, they were last place and looking at a mountain to climb, but as other teams crumbled, they managed to find their footing and steadily make their way up. Counter Logic Gaming and Golden Guardians were once playoff hopefuls, but a bad streak in the middle of this split has them in last place with Clutch Gaming. The last team on the outside looking in is TSM, who are 6-8 and in 7th place, which is a very unfamiliar sight as they are perennial Worlds contenders, but this year has been quite a different story. There are 2 weeks (4 games) left and if teams haven't figured it out by now, then it might be too late.
