Week 8 saw the top team, Echo Fox, go 0-2 and are now tied with Cloud9 in 1st place and only 1 game ahead of Clutch Gaming and 100 Thieves. Counter Logic Gaming are continuing their push towards the playoffs going 2-0, but it will be tough since Team Solo Mid went 2-0 and Team Liquid beat Clutch Gaming to go 1-1. Both TSM and TL are now 2 games ahead of CLG, so either TSM or TL need to go 0-2 in Week 9 and CLG need to go 2-0. The top of the standings are quite close now with the Top 6 only being separated by 2 games, so technically there is a possibility that the bottom teams can catch the top teams and create a crazy tie-breaker situation.
