Final Playoff Standings
In a crazy rush for playoffs in the inaugural season of NBA 2K League, we actually had a 5-way tie between 4th-8th. This normally would have granted all teams a playoff birth, but with the special rule that gave Knicks Gaming an automatic playoff birth by winning the last tournament of the season, this meant that one team was on the outside looking in. Magic Gaming were this team, while Raptors Uprising GC, Cavs Leagion GC, Heat CHeck Gaming, and Wizards District Gaming make it in.
The quarterfinals will be single elimination, while the semifinals and finals will be best of three. The playoff prize pool will be $600,000, with $300,000 going to the league champions.
