Stage 3 starts with an announcement by the Overwatch League. After shifting their Stage Playoffs to Sunday to avoid a super lengthy Saturday session, they are at it again with another change. This time, they are changing the playoff format to include the Top 4 teams from the stage. Now the 1st seed will not receive a bye into the Finals, but instead they will get the power to pick their opponent for the Semi-Finals. In this format, we would have had the Los Angeles Valiant make it into the Stage 1 Playoffs as the 4th seed, while the Seoul Dynasty would have made it in for Stage 2 Playoffs. This change in format should give more teams hope that they can make the Stage Playoffs and have a chance at competing for the Stage Title. There are a couple of matches to look out for in Stage 3 Week 1. The very first match has Shanghai going up against Dallas, which many peg to be Shanghai's best chance at securing their first victory. Dallas has been going through so much inconsistency and turmoil that they look like an easy target, but I think their decently strong Week 5 performance will propel them to victory. And then on Saturday, you have the heavyweight match-up right off the bat with London vs New York. These teams have faced off against each other 3 times now; always going to 5 maps. It will be another heated match between the Top 2 teams, where I believe that London will come out ahead as I believe they have something to prove after not making it to the Stage 2 Finals.

Total: 79-41 (.658)
