The inaugural season of the Overwatch League is 75% complete now and we are starting Stage 4 with a few questions:
Can the Boston Uprising continue their hot play and be one of the top teams in Stage 4 and into the overall playoffs? I think so as they have a very consistent line-up and even if the meta shifts to an anti-dive Brigette comp, they will shift and still have that synergy.
Can New York continue their dominance over the entire league? Yes because their individual skill is so high that they can sub-in and play non-optimal comps and still beat most teams. I think they win both the Stage 4 and the Season 1 Championships.
Will Seoul ever make a Stage Playoffs? I think their talented line-up will finally come together and make a run for the Stage Playoffs, but I don't think they get past the semifinals; they are definitely in that 3rd-6th place range.
Can Shanghai pick up a match victory? Everyone says that Dallas has the highest chance of losing to Shanghai, but I feel like Dallas' pride and individual skill will not allow them to be defeated. The bar is going to be set, I think we get to see a 0-40 season from Shanghai.
Only 4 games separate 3rd seed and 8th seed (overall), so which teams will make the Season 1 Playoffs. I think the 6 teams that are currently sitting in playoff positions will qualify (New York, Boston, London, Los Angeles V, Seoul and Philadelphia).
