Stage 4 brought the introduction of Bridgette, who was going to change up the entire meta as she was a direct counter to the most dominating strategy, Dive Comp. Some teams have been known to be better at The Dive than others but it wasn't as simple to say that these teams would struggle. After Week 1, surprisingly we have 5 teams who went 2-0, 2 teams at 1-1, and another 5 teams struggling at 0-2. The most surprising result would be Boston, London and Seoul all starting off 0-2. Boston loss to Philadelphia and Houston, who are looking to make a strong run at the playoffs. London look posts only taking a single map, getting swept by Houston and losing 3-1 to New York. Seoul lost a close one 3-2 to the Los Angeles Valiant and 3-1 to San Francisco. Dallas stumped Shanghai once again to almost secure them a winless season unless some other team drops the ball. If a few of these teams don't find their footing in this meta, they could fall in the standings and find themselves outside the playoff picture.
