5 teams are undefeated: (3-0) Cavs, Magic, Pacers, (2-0) Hawks, (1-0) Thunder
7 teams are winless: (0-1) Rockets, (0-2) Grizzlies, Nuggets, Pistons, Raptors, (0-3) Bulls, Wizards
Major Upsets: Hornets > Nets, Cavs > 76ers, Knicks > Bucks
Questions after Week 1:
- How good is the East? Are teams like the Cavs, Hawks, Magic, and Pacers for real? Every "top team" in the East has lost at least once.
- Will we finally see some new teams emerge and make it into the playoffs in the East?
- If so, which teams drop out? Celtics, Hornets, Pistons, Raptors?
- A lot of fringe teams have started strong in the West. Kings, Pelicans, Spurs, Suns, and Timberwolves are all 2-1 with some notable wins over strong opponents.
- Grizzlies, Nuggets, and Rockets are winless and the Warriors look bad, but you can't see all of these teams struggling throughout the season.
- Does this mean that every team in the West will be competing for a playoff spot?
